The price of new houses, in Ireland, goes up in a certain way that they even double

The price of new homes has doubled from around 200,000 euros to 380,000 since 2012. This increase affects mostly new buyers, who must earn almost 100,000 euros a year to get a mortgage for a new house in Dublin. In this way, the average sales prices in the capital are now more than nine times the average salary, while in the past, affordable housing was considered to be three to four times the income of a person. Thus, the purchase of houses has declined for the first time in seven years, driven by a 15 percent drop in purchases of new construction.
