Euribor sets the standard for millions of Spaniards who have a mortgage or want to buy a house
and wonder about the evolution of the 10-year Euribor. And is not for less. Depending on how the index moves, they will have to pay more or less for their home loan each month.
And the fact is that the 12-month Euribor does not stop experiencing changes and, above all, downward. The monthly average for the month of August 2021 has remained at -0.501% and leaves the monthly average at -0.498%, very close to the historical lows of -0.505% in January for the benefit of mortgages.
With all the changes that this index is experiencing, the forecast on the evolution of the Euribor for the coming years continues to be negative. Specifically, at -0.45% in 2021 and -0.42% in 2022.
